The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed regarding the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The assistance issue developed for intervention activities a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to help the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
